Walking on the Moon - Sea of Tranquillity - Chimera Six launch, featuring the cosmic SciFi poet Steve Sneyd, Roger Caldwell's new collection with Ninth Arrondissement Press and electronica by Matt Yee-King. Colchester Arts Centre, doors open 7.30pm.

12.02.2007 - Chimera reading and 9th Arrondissement Press Pamphlet launch at Shakespeare&Co, Paris

There will be a reading from Chimera 5 at Shakespeare&Co St Michel Paris by Robert Cole,Olivia McCannon, Kathleen Gallaher, Mike Harwood and Chris Ames. Derek Adams and Philip Wilson will be launching their 9th Arrondissement Press Pamphlets Reading Upstairs at 7pm Entrance Free Do come if youre in Paris.

21.10.2006 - Chimera reading at the Essex Poetry Festival

Chimera reading at the Essex Poetry Festival at the Cramphorn Theatre in Chelmsford on 21st October at 2.15 with Carole Satyamurti. Derek Adams and Philip Wilson launching their Ninth Arrondissement Press pamphlets. Lauren Clarke will also be reading.

09.11.2006 - Chimera 5 launch at the Colchester Arts Centre

Chimera Five launch at our new venue the Colchester Arts Centre for 'Chimera Variations' on the 9th November at 7.30pm. (Yes, you can get there in an hour from Liverpool St.) We'll be combining two exceptional talents for a great new improvised sound - Robert Cole's poetry and Matt Yee-king's electronica along with the London Superusers, Pablo Fiesco's prose with his own backing. Olivia McCannon's riveting prose, Mileta Rien an award-winning performance poet from Australia. Susie Reynolds will be reading from her infamous 'Man Dancing'. There will be some exciting jamming too!

22.06.2006 - Chimera 4 Reading at the Poetry Café London

Arrive at 7:30pm for an 8pm start. Readers include David Constantine, Philip Wilson, Derek Adams, Ken Champion, Adrian Green and Roger Caldwell.

08.06.2006 - Chimera 4 Launch

Chimera Four was launched on the 8th April at the Cabaret Voltaire, in Colchester, with readings by Roger Caldwell, Derek Adams, Tim Cunningham, Estill Pollock and Philip Wilson. "Here are true and new thoughts, feelings and imagery in natural language of precision, flexibility, faultless grace and rhythmic beauty...There are no cliches. Reading Chimera refreshes the mind with new combinations of words and ideas. Chimera Three is vibrant." Leslie Bell, Wivenhoe News.

Chimera Four has work by such poets as David Constantine, Maurice Riordan and Paul Groves.

25.11.2005 - Chimere 3 Launch

Chimera Three will be launched on the 25th November at the Cabaret Voltaire, in Colchester, with readings by contributors. It's a bumper issue of 84pp. As was said about Chimera Two in Literary Magazine Review, (from the University of Wisconsin): "Nothing in the issue had the faults of much writing in most American independent literary magazines. Very interesting..."

This one promises to be even better, with new poems by Peter Porter, Jeremy Reed, Paul Groves and our new discovery Ian Mullins. Exciting new prose from Heather Reyes and Ken Champion. It's a snip at 4.75, $7, 7 euros.

22.09.2005 - Chimera 2 Reading at the Poetry Café, London

Thank you to all those who came to support us and read at the Poetry Café. Special thanks go to Carole Satyamurti, Judith Kazantzis, Tim Cunningham, our main readers. Thanks to Derek Adams for putting so much work into advertising the event, have you seen his amazing photos in the Poetry Café yet? Chimera Three will be out in November, with an Australian flavour enhanced by new poems of Peter Porter's, we are lucky again to have the talented Jeremy Reed on board, also there's new work from Paul Groves. Thank you Matt Yee-King for your valuable work on the website.
